We are committed to protecting your privacy and handling your personal information in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles. This policy explains what we collect, why, and how it is handled.
1. What we collect
Contact details — your name, phone number and email address.
Buyer requirements — the details of what you are looking for: locations, budget range, property attributes, timing, finance status and preferences you choose to share.
Seller and property details — property address, attributes, price expectations and selling timeframe.
Voice conversations with AI Diana — see section 3 below.
Usage information — basic technical information about how the website is used, to keep the platform secure and improve it.
2. Why we collect it — and your consent
By using this platform and providing your details, you consent to us logging and using your information to:
match buyers and sellers on our pre-market registry;
have a licensed real estate agent contact you about a potential match, or to discuss and clarify your requirements;
analyse registry data to improve our matching and understand market demand (published insights are always anonymised and aggregated); and
meet our legal obligations (see section 6).
3. AI Diana — voice recording
Please be aware: your conversations with our AI assistant, "AI Diana", are recorded. This includes the audio of the conversation and a written transcript. Key details you mention — such as your name, contact number and property requirements — are automatically extracted and saved to our registry so we can act on them. By starting a conversation with AI Diana, you consent to this recording and processing. If you prefer not to be recorded, simply use our written registration forms instead — you will receive exactly the same service.
4. What we do NOT do
We do not sell your personal information. We do not pass your private details to third parties for their marketing. Your information is used for contact purposes, matching and data analysis as described in this policy — nothing else.
5. Service providers
Like almost every online service, we use a small number of trusted technology providers to operate the platform — for example, secure database hosting, website hosting, email delivery, and the conversational voice and avatar technology behind AI Diana. These providers process information solely on our behalf and under our instructions, and are not permitted to use it for their own purposes. Some providers may process data on servers located outside Australia, including in the United States, the United Kingdom, Europe, and other jurisdictions in which our providers or their affiliates operate; where this occurs we take reasonable steps to ensure your information remains protected to standards consistent with Australian privacy law.
6. Identity verification (AML/CTF)
From 1 July 2026, Australian anti-money laundering and counter-terrorism financing laws (AML/CTF Act) apply to real estate services. If your engagement with us progresses toward a property transaction, we are required by law to verify your identity and may need to collect identification documents and, in some cases, information about your source of funds. This is a standard legal requirement applying to all Australian real estate transactions and does not imply any suspicion. Records collected for this purpose are retained as required by law.
7. Storage, security and retention
Your information is stored in secure, access-controlled systems. We retain personal information only for as long as needed for the purposes above or as required by law (including the seven-year record-keeping obligations that apply to real estate transactions), after which it is deleted or de-identified.
8. Access, correction and deletion
You may request access to the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete your registration at any time by contacting our Privacy Officer (below). We will respond within a reasonable period.
If you have a privacy concern, please contact us first and we will do our best to resolve it promptly. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (oaic.gov.au).

1. What the platform is
Wanted Property is a pre-market property matching service. Verified buyers register their requirements ("buyer briefs"), and sellers — including owners who have not publicly listed — may be matched to them privately. We are not a public listing portal. Real estate agency services connected with the platform are provided by licensed estate agents in accordance with the Estate Agents Act 1980 (Vic).
2. Eligibility and accuracy
You must be at least 18 years old to register. You agree that the information you provide is true, accurate and yours to give, and that you will keep it reasonably up to date. We may decline, suspend or remove any registration at our discretion, including where information appears inaccurate or misleading.
3. Buyers
Registration is free. By registering a buyer brief (via form or in conversation with AI Diana) you consent to your requirements being stored on our registry, matched against properties, displayed in anonymised form (for example on our Active Buyers registry and promotional material — never with your name or contact details), and to being contacted by a licensed agent regarding a potential match or to discuss your requirements. Registration does not guarantee that a matching property will be found.
4. Sellers and agents
Agents: if you register a seller or property on this platform on behalf of a vendor, you warrant that you hold a current, written authority from that vendor to do so and to receive introductions to prospective buyers. Your appointment and your entitlement to commission under that authority are unaffected by the platform; we do not solicit or accept engagements from vendors you have introduced under your authority.
Sellers approaching us directly: you may register your property or your interest in selling at no cost. Depending on your requirements and how far your match progresses, you will be asked to sign a written authority appointing a licensed agent to act on your behalf before introductions or negotiations are conducted, as required by law. You are free to decline, in which case the process simply pauses.
5. AI Diana
AI Diana is an artificial-intelligence assistant using the cloned voice and likeness of a real licensed agent. Conversations with AI Diana are recorded and transcribed as described in our Privacy Policy. AI Diana provides general information and gathers your requirements; she does not provide financial, legal or personalised professional advice, and any property information she provides should be independently verified. All matches proposed by our systems are reviewed and approved by a licensed agent before any introduction is made.
6. Introductions and non-circumvention
Introductions between buyers and sellers are made in confidence. You agree not to use information obtained through the platform to circumvent it — for example, by identifying and directly approaching the other party to a proposed match in order to avoid the platform or an introducing agent. Formal introductions may be documented in a written introduction agreement.
7. Fees
Registration is free for buyers and sellers. A success fee applies only where a sale of an introduced property completes, as set out in the written agreement signed before introduction. If there is no sale, there is no fee.
8. Anti-money laundering (AML/CTF)
Real estate services in Australia are subject to the Anti-Money Laundering and Counter-Terrorism Financing Act 2006 (Cth), with obligations applying to real estate professionals from 1 July 2026. Where your use of the platform progresses toward a transaction, you may be required to complete customer due diligence, including verification of your identity and, where applicable, source of funds, before services can continue. 9. No advice; no guarantee
Content on this platform is general information only and is not financial, legal, tax or investment advice. Property decisions are significant — please obtain your own independent professional advice. We do not guarantee that any match, introduction or sale will occur, nor any particular price or outcome.
10. Intellectual property and acceptable use
All content on the platform, including the Wanted Property brand, AI Diana, and our matching systems, is our intellectual property or used under licence. You agree not to misuse the platform, including by scraping data, submitting false registrations, attempting to access others' information, interfering with AI Diana, or using the platform for any unlawful purpose.
11. Liability
Nothing in these terms excludes rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law. Subject to that, and to the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from use of the platform, and our total liability is limited to resupplying the relevant service.
12. Changes and governing law
We may update these Terms of Use and the Privacy Policy from time to time; the current version will always be available on this page, and continued use of the platform constitutes acceptance. These terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia.
